The Hidden Manna
This morning the Lord woke me early, saying to me: "You are barely alive." He caused me to remember "The Hidden Manna." These words are the results of His Great Mercy towards me, this day 08/02/09.
David writes in Psalms 78: 23, 24 "Yet He commanded the clouds from above And opened the doors of Heaven. He rained down Manna upon them and gave them the Corn of Heaven."
Now we read in Exodus 16 : 25- 28 "Then Moses said, "Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord; Today you will not find it in the field. Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath , there shall be none. Now it happened that some people went out on the seventh day to gather but they found none."
And the Lord said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My Commandments and My Laws?" That day was Lyar 22 in the year 2448 from creation.
Then Moses said, "This is the thing which the Lord has commanded: 'Fill an omer with it, to be kept for your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.
And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it and lay it before the Lord, to be kept for your generations."
"As the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept."
Now we read in Hebrews 9 : 3 -5 "And behind the second veil, the part of the Tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, which had the golden censor and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail."
In Deuteronomy 8 : 3 it is written; "He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might prove to you that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord."
We also know that these exact words Of Christ Jesus are used to resist the tempter in the wilderness. In Matthew 4 : 3, 4, we find; "Now when the tempter came to Him, he said; 'If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
"But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from The Mouth Of God!"
Beware lest you forget, if you by any means you forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods and serve them and worship them. I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish; because you would not be obedient to the Voice of the Lord your God.
Now it is written in Revelation 2 : 17; "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it."
Now we know that a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him. Death is overcome by Life. I write to you because you have overcome the evil one. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
"He who overcomes I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I overcame, and sat down with My Father on His Throne." Revelation 3 : 21
Consider this, God commanded The Sabbath AFTER He sent the Bread from Heaven, the 22 Lyar 1313 BCE. On that friday morning, enough manna fell for two days' worth of meals, as on the Shabbat it would be prohibited to gather the manna. The 'Two loaves' of chellah bread that formed the foundation of the Shabbat meal are in commemoration of the double portion of manna.
Also consider the 22 Lyar 1731 Giovanni Antonio Costanzi, the Vatican librarian and author of a catalogue of the Vatican's Hebrew manuscripts, directed searches in all Jewish quarters throughout the papal States to confiscate Jewish Holy books. The confiscation began on the 22nd lyar in 1731 and continued over the next twenty years.
Also noteworthy of this day in the history of mankind is the beginning of thousands upon thousands of Hungarian Jews deported in 1944.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4: 7 "gabriel"
