The Map

Thursday November 6th 2008.
Woke up in a panic at three a.m. from a dream of the Lord.
My body was trembling with fear.
I rushed to my porch to look outside because I felt an urgency of the matter.
All seemed normal in my neighborhood.
I then went to my computer to check the latest news.
All seemed normal.

I felt I had to tell someone. I E-mailed two persons with the same message.
Simply telling them that I couldn't type because I was trembling too much,
but that "something terrible is about to happen."
Such was my anguish that I was sure
that as the sun would rise on the day
that it would start happening.

And I didn't know what!!
And I still don't know what!
But here is the dream I had awakened from.

In my dream the Lord showed me a Map
We were looking down at a large section of road from above
as one standing at a high altitude.
And the Lord spoke to me and said:
"See this measure of the road."
And He motioned with His Hands.
" I will not reveal this portion to you beforehand,
  BECAUSE it is TOO TERRIBLE.
But I will reveal to you what will be after."

And on His last words I awoke.
Think now how terrible is terrible,
For the Lord Himself to call it such!!

Dreams

God gives dreams to warn
as it is written:
"Being warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod "
And in a dream Joseph, was told
"Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt"
and
"Have nothing to do with that righteous man,
for I have suffered many things this day in
a dream because of Him,"
And again God
came to Abimelech in a dream,
and said to him,
"Behold, you are a dead man, because of the woman whom you have taken.
For she is a man's wife."
And God came to Laban, the Syrian
in a dream of the night and said to him,
"Take heed to yourself that you don't
speak to Jacob either good or bad."

Dreams  from God can be prophetic in nature as well.
The dreams of Jacob and Joseph
are an example of this
as well as the cupbearer and the baker.

In most instances the dream and the dreamer are one.

The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream,
saying, "Joseph, son of David,
don't be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife,
for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit."

Divine Dreams are a gift from God;
To Guide and to Warn,
those who are so blessed to receive and to remember
the visions of the night.
